SUNSARI, March 7: One person died last night after being hit by a City Safari in Ramdhuni Municipality-1 Jhumka Bazar of Sunsari.  

District Police Office Sunsari Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Rai said that the deceased is Bhakta Bahadur Karki, 59, of Ramdhuni-5. The City Safari (Ko 2 H 3877), which was traveling from east to west, hit the pedestrian Karki.  

Police said that Karki died during treatment and Suresh Chaudhary, 35, of Tahari-5, the safari driver, has been arrested.
