KATHMANDU, Feb 25: Presidential candidate Ram Chandra Paudel has held a meeting with Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane.
Paudel visited Lamichhane's Hattigouda residence after the Nepali Congress (NC) decided to field him as a candidate for the post of president.

Lamichhane's Personal Secretary Prakash Sigdel said that Paudel asked the RSP Chairman Lamichhane to support him in the presidential election.
Lamichhane replied that the decision will be taken after holding discussion in the party. There was a 21-minute conversation between the two leaders.
Eight parties including the CPN (Maoist Center) earlier agreed to support the NC candidate for the presidency. But RSP has not decided anything.
