URLABARI, Sept 18: The Area Administration Office at Urlabari of eastern Morang will start distribution of passports from today.
The launching of the new service will spare the service recipients of the need to visit district headquarters of Biratnagar to obtain passports.
The Office will not only be distributing passports but also work as a tax collection centre, Office Chief, Under Secretary Murari Wosti said. He added further that the service was launched in view of the population density.
The administration office's jurisdiction straddles Morang's Urlabari, Patharishanischare and Letangbhogateni municipalities including Rajghat, Madhumalla, Bayerban, Hasandaha, Keraun, Dangighat, Tandi, Jante, Ramitekhola and Barwangi VDCs. These sectors constitute 30 per cent of the overall population of the district. RSS
