KATHMANDU, Feb 11: One person died in Bhaktapur after a bus collided with a motorcycle. The victim was 54-year-old Mukunda Prasad Timilsina from Dhulikhel Municipality-7, Basghari, in Kavre.
The accident occurred when the bus (Ba 2 Kha 9454), on its way from Suryabinayak Municipality-10, Palase, Sanga to Jagati hit the motorcycle (Ba.78 Pa.3155) heading in the opposite direction.

According to the District Police Range Bhaktapur, Timilsina, the motorcyclist, sustained serious injuries after the accident. He was pronounced dead at Madhyapur Hospital on Saturday night.
The police have detained the driver of the bus Dehendra Singh Basnet, a 35-year-old resident of Dolakha, Bhimeshwar Municipality-7. The bus has also been seized.
