SURKHET, Feb 6: CPN (Maoist Center) leader Janardan Sharma has said that party unification between his party and CPN-UML was almost finalized with only the formalization part left.
In a press meet organized by Press Center Province-6 chapter here Tuesday, leader Sharma, also former Home Minister, shared that the unity process will get concrete shape after work division between two party leaders are finalized.
Both party chairs were holding discussions to this effect in a positive way, he added.
On another note, he clarified that the recent visit of Indian External Minister Sushma Swaraj to Nepal had no effect to party unity between two communist forces of Nepal.
He also said that the Karnali region was a 'piece of gold' and architects to make ornaments out of it were needed. Sharma shared that the candidate of chief minister for the province will be finalized by February 7.
