DHANGADHI, Sept 25: : Incessant rain has flooded parts of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City on Monday.
The Seti Zonal Hospital has also experienced flooding.
1.3 million people exit Kathmandu Valley in a week
According to DSP Kuldeep Chand of the District Police Office in Kailali, rainwater has entered the maternity ward and surgery room of Seti Zonal Hospital. Following the inundation, both patients and their relatives have encountered difficulties.
Due to continuous rainfall since Sunday night, LN Chowk, Bishalnagar, and Hasanpur areas of the Dhangadhi market have been inundated.
The District Police Office, Kailali, stated that the absence of proper water drainage resulted in increased flooding in wards 1, 3, and 4 of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City.
