They also believe the government will introduce time-bound policies and programs for economic development for achieving high growth rate.
Country's private sector is also hopeful that promulgation of new constitution will create investment-friendly environment in the country. They also said the major parties should bring all disgruntled parties and groups on board and settle differences with them through talks.
Three leading organization of private sector have welcomed the endorsement of Constitution of Nepal 2015 by issuing separate statements on Thursday.
New statute will drive country toward peace, prosperity: FNCCI
FNCCI has said country's private sector is elated as the six-decades-old dream of having a constitution written by people has finally become reality. It has thanked political parties for the initiation that they have taken to take the country on the path of peace and prosperity by promulgating a new constitution. "The government should now move forward and make commitment to introduce time-bound policies and programs for economic development," the statement said, adding, "We are looking for proactive role of the government to help the private sector to bring investments for achieving double-digit economic growth and graduate to a developing country by 2022." FNCCI has also appealed all dissatisfied parties and groups to sit for talks, withdrawing bandas and strikes which have already taken their toll on country's economic sector, industries and businesses. It has also urged all its chapters, industrial enterprises and business houses to celebrate promulgation of new constitution on Sunday by illuminating their homes and offices.
CNI hopefulgovt will prioritize economic agenda
Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has said the new constitution will open up economic opportunities in the country. "Promulgation of new constitution will end instability and political transition, pave the way for economic development, and create a favorable climate for doing business," CNI said in the statement. Though some of the recommendations made by the private sector have been left out, CNI said it was hopeful that the government will prioritize economic agendas. CNI is also hopeful that political parties will hold talks with the dissatisfied parties and groups in Tarai and address their concerns through dialogue. "All Nepalis should take ownership of this historic document," the statement added.

new phase of economic development: NCC
NCC has said it was hopeful that the country will enter a new phase of economic development as promulgation of new constitution will end political transitional and lead the country toward stability. "Positive message disseminated by the endorsement of new statute can play a great role in bringing investment and increase trade at both domestic and international level," NCC said in the statement. The statement further said NCC was hopeful that suggestions given by the private second on several economic issues will be incorporated in the constitution text in the near future.
