GAIGHAT (Udayapur), Oct 29: The political parties in the district have agreed to restructure the district into eight local units.

The agreement has been for eight local units including four village municipality and four municipalities, according to CPN (MC) leader Mohan Poudel. The agreement was reached at an all party meeting held at the District Development Committee on Thursday and Friday.
Currently there are three municipalities including Triyuga, Katari and Beltar Basaha. There were 40 VDCs in the district. RSS
