KATHMANDU, Feb 24: A meeting of the parliamentary party of the Dahal-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party began on Wednesday afternoon.
The meeting which began at 4PM at the parliamentary party office, Singha Durbar, is discussing the evolving political situation after the Supreme Court reinstated the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
At the outset of the meeting, Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal said that many parliamentarians who joined the Oli-led faction after the vertical split in the party are now willing to join their (Dahal-Nepal) faction.
"We have to welcome wholeheartedly if some parliamentarians in the Oli-led faction wish to join our camp now," Nepal said addressing the lawmakers.
Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal is now addressing the parliamentarians.
The meeting is taking place to chalk out further strategies of the Dahal-Nepal faction.
