KATHMANDU, July 2: The parliamentary hearing of the proposed Election Commissioner Krishna Man Pradhan will be held on July 4 and 5.
A meeting of the Parliamentary Hearings Committee held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday fixed the date of hearing the complaints against Pradhan and his action plan.
Pashupati Shumsher JB Rana, the senior-most member of the committee (chairman), said that the committee approved the proposed date of July 4 and 5 for hearing of the candidate proposed by the Constitutional Council with amendments.
“I announce that the proposal of the Constitutional Council for the hearing of Pradhan for the post of election commissioner has been passed with amendment,” said Rana.
