KATHMANDU, Jan 8: A parliamentary committee has directed the government to secure funding for the construction of the Mulpani Cricket Stadium.
On Thursday, the Federalism Enablement and National Concerns Committee discussed the matter with Minister for Youth and Sports Teju Lal Chaudhary and the ministry's secretary.

After the discussion, the committee directed the government to secure funding for the Mulpani Cricket Stadium.
The government announced in its policies and programs for the fiscal year 2023/24 that it would upgrade the Mulpani and Kirtipur stadiums to host international-level competitions within two years.
