KATHMANDU, March 29: The fifth session of Parliament kicked off at 3:45pm on Sunday. According to myrepublica.com correspondent Yuvraj Acharya, as soon the meeting began, members from the CPN-UML stood from their position and demanded time to speak. But speaker Subash Nembang said it was parliamentary tradition not to enter any agenda if there is one of passing condolence message.

He urged UML members to take their position back and speak the following day.
The speaker then read out a letter sent by President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, summoning the fifth session of the legislature parliament.
Parliament also passed two condolence messages on the demise of Constituent Assembly member Bodh Narayan Sardar and former lawmaker and former Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minsiter Maheshwar Prasad Singh.
The meeting was postponed until Tuesday 3 pm.
