KATHMANDU, Feb 28: The health condition of former Crown Prince Paras Bir Bikram Shah remained ´stable but critical´ on Thursday as well, according to a press statement issued by Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok, where Shah is undergoing treatment since February 19 after suffering a massive heart attack.

"He has remained under ventilator support; and his blood pressure and heart beat remain under control," the statement said. [break]

Like on Wednesday, Shah also moved his limbs spontaneously on Thursday as well.

Shah had started moving his limbs spontaneously from Wednesday after his body temperature was raised to normal level of 37 degrees centigrade.

Currently, most of his family members are in Bangkok to attend to him. On Wednesday, his parents -- former King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah and former Queen Komal Rajya Laxmi Shah -- also left for Bangkok. They went straight to the hospital after landing at Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok. And after arriving at the hospital, they visited their son and then held consultation with doctors.

On Thursday, the former royal couple arrived at the hospital at 11:30 am Bangkok time and held consultation with doctors, a reliable source informed.
