KATHMANDU,March 22 : The 39th annual general meeting of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter has unanimously elected a new executive committee under Suman Pandey. This is Pandey's second tenure at PATA Nepal Chapter.

Acccording to a statement issued by PATA Nepal Chapter, Nandini Lahe Thapa, director of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has been elected as first vice president, Saroj Kasaju, director of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) as second vice president, Hari Man Lama of Incentives Tours and Travels as secretary, and Pampha Dhamala of Langtang Ri Trekking and Expedition as treasurer.
Bibhuti Chand Thakur of Himalayan Holidays Travels & Tours, Shiva Dhakal of Royal Mountain Travel - Nepal, Sunil Sakya of KGH Group Of Hotels, Marcus Cotton of Tiger Mountain Nepal and Sanjay Mathema of SDU Travels and Immediate Past President, Pawan Tuladhar of Dharma Adventures are the members in the executive committee.Similarly, Tulsi Prasad Gautam, director general of Department of Tourism and Ram Hari Sharma, corporate director of NAC have been appointed ex-officio members. Meanwhile, the association gave away PATA Personality of the Year Award 2015 to Manohar SJB Rana, CEO of Yeti Travels, for his honest, integral and consistent service to the Nepali tourism industry, according to the statement.
