Nepa~laya’s micro event series, Paleti is set to resume after an interval. The first show of this series will be held this Friday. Paleti series was first organized by Nepa~laya in 2005 with the aim of presenting solo performances of music practitioners of yesteryears. Since then around 50 musical icons of Nepali music have graced the Paleti stage. Paleti is credited by musician and music critiques as an attempt to resurrect and rejuvenate the elder generation of Nepali Music.

According to a press statement released by Nepa~laya Paleti had been a regular musical event organized during the last Friday of the Gregorian month. From February 22nd onwards, Paleti will be staged at its regular venue, Nepa~laya’s ‘r’ sala. From the earlier one-day event, this will now extend to the whole weekend. The concept of multiple shows has been initiated due to limited space and greater interest amongst music enthusiasts.
