KATHMANDU, June 18: Police have arrested four Pakistani nationals from Thamel for entering Nepal with fake United Kingdom’s passport. A team of police from Tribhuvan International Airport had arrested the Pakistani nationals after they were notified by the Interpol.
“We’ve initiated further investigation. They had entered Nepal on June 15,” Hom Nath Thapaliya, chief immigration officer at the country’s only international airport said. “We have also kept two more in custody due to suspicion.” He added that as investigation was ongoing, they were yet to confirm authenticity of the passports.
