PAC seeks NAC papers

KATHMANDU, Nov 23: The Public Affairs Committee (PAC) of the parliament has directed top officials of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) to be present at the committee´s meeting on Friday and submit some documents sought earlier by the committee.



The PAC has also directed the corporation officials to be present in a responsible way at the parliamentary committee after the NAC did not furnish convincing answers on some questions raised by the committee, said PAC secretary Som Bahadur Thapa.



"The committee has directed the officials to immediately submit the documents regarding the purchase of planes," he said.



PAC summoned NAC chairman, general manager and the company secretary on Friday.
