An employee at Pathibhara Temple Area, Rajendra Mahat, informed that they recorded the highest number of arrivals in the religious site on Tuesday- highest since the beginning of fiscal year.
Earlier, they had witnessed the arrival of 6,600 people on a day of the Dashain festival. The record was broken today with the surge in pilgrims' arrival.
It has been difficult for some years to manage the queue for conducting puja conveniently. The Pathibhara Area Development Committee and the Pathivara Devi Temple Preservation and Promotion Committee have been coordinating and leading the management of the visitors' arrival and worship.
The Committee informed that a total of 25,368 devotees visited Pathivara from Ghatasthapana to Kojagrat Poornima.
However, the number of pilgrims rose sharply. It is the favorable time in terms of weather for Pathivara visit. Even the roads are being repaired.
