KATHMANDU, Nov 20: The outgoing Karnali Provincial Assembly Speaker Raj Bahadur Shahi has cast his vote.
Speaker Shahi reached Angal Danda and cast his vote at Panchala Secondary School of Thantikandh Rural Municipality Ward No. 6 of Dailekh district this morning. In 2074 BS, Shahi had won as a provincial assembly member from Dailekh Constituency 2 (B).
55 Per cent votes cast in Province 4 and 5 till 3:00 PM
Talking to the media after the voting, Shahi said that this election was more exciting than the previous elections.
Similarly, outgoing speaker of Province 1, Pradeep Kumar Bhandari has also cast his vote.
Bhandari cast his vote from the polling station at Lotus Secondary School in Dharan Sub-metropolitan City-13. Speaking to media persons after casting his vote, Bhandari said that it is necessary for everyone to vote in the election. He said that there should be no delay in selecting the competent leadership to make the future of the country better and brighter.
