KATHMANDU, Feb 4: The opposition parties will decide on the candidate for the election for the vice chairman of the National Assembly by tomorrow morning.
Chief Whip of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party, Ramesh Lekhak said that the Nepali Congress has called a meeting of the opposition parties representing the parliament today and they will decide on the candidate tomorrow morning after initial discussion.
Today, there was a discussion and analysis. A decision will be reached by tomorrow morning and the name of the candidate will be finalized tomorrow, he said.
On Feburary 6, the election for the vice president of the National Assembly will be held. Earlier, Leaders of CPN (Unified Socialist) Party, Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, Rastriya Jana Morcha Party participated in the meeting held at the office of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party at Singha Durbar.
