Opposition alliance's protest meaningless : Minister Acharya

CHITWAN, March 21: Minister for Law, Justice, Constituent Assembly and Parliamentary Affairs Narahari Acharya has said the protest of opposition alliance was meaningless.

At a press meet organized by the Nepal Press Union in the district today, Minister Acharya said that though the ruling parties were holding dialogues to resolve the disputed issues of a new constitution, opposition alliance was adopting meaningless protest.


He urged the opposition parties to join the dialogue table to resolve the disputed issues.

Moreover, the Minister said that the constitution drafting process would go ahead if the dialogue fails. Even the Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subas Nembang was calling the parties to forge the consensus on the disputed issues. RSS
