KATHMANDU, Sept 10: Lighting products of popular Chinese brand Opple is now available in the Nepali market.

GP Trading Concern has introduced the Opple brand in Nepal, launching different lighting products. The company has launched Opple bulbs, panel lights, strip lights, spot lights and track lights in the market. 

Price of Opple products start from Rs 300 per unit.

Officials of GP Trading Concern said that Opple lighting products are cost effective and are of high quality. “We have launched Opple products with the mission of 'Creating Value with Light', and we are committed to provide lighting solutions for households, offices, businesses and industries,” the company said in a statement. 

The company has also claimed that Opple is the first lighting brand in Nepal to focus on the health effects caused by lighting. “Opple has patented the technology that makes its light source more pleasing to eye by reflecting the true colors of the surrounding environment. The 'flicker-free' technology ensures that the eyes are not strained during long working hours,” said the company. 

“In a country like Nepal, where electricity is a scarce resource, lighting the environment using LEDs can play a major role in conserving energy,” the statement added.

Opple products come with warranty of two to five years.

GP Trading Concern has opened first Opple outlet in Putalisadak. It aims to open Opple outlets in at least five major cities in the near future.
