Onsite inspection of Nepal-India border

CHITWAN, April 11: The District Administration Office (DAO) has informed that an onsite inspection of border has begun at Balmeeki and Madi areas of the district today. The areas are linked to Indian border.

The onsite inspection was conducted as per the decision of Nepali Coordination Board, said Chief District Officer (CDO) Dr Man Bahadur BK.


The inspection team comprises officials from DAO, Survey Office, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force (APF) and Wild Life Reserve Office.

The inspection is a joint monitoring from Nepal and Indian sides at the border line at first phase, construction of pillars at the second and preparation of report on the areas said to be encroached upon Nepali land at the third phase, CDO BK added. RSS
