MORANG, Aug 3: A coronavirus (COVID-19) patient, who was undergoing treatment at the Koshi Hospital COVID-19 Treatment Center in Biratnagar, died on Monday.
The 77-year-old male from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-5 was admitted at the hospital earlier in the morning after he complained of chest pain and respiratory difficulties. “He was placed at the isolation ward after he was suspected to have been infected with COVID-19,” said the Hospital’s Spokesperson Dr Laxmi Narayan Yadav.
His swab samples were collected after his admission at the hospital. His test report in the evening confirmed that he had COVID-19 infection.
With this, Morang district has reported two COVID-19 related deaths as of Monday.
