One killed, two injured in minibus and truck collision

BANKE, Jan 25: One person was killed in a collision between a truck and a mini bus at Kohalpur-14 Hawaldarpur in Banke this morning. The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Ram Krishna Gotame of Khaireni, Devdaha Municipality-6, Rupandehi.

Police said that he died during treatment. Two others were injured in the accident.

The injured are 35-year-old Lokendra BK and his wife 35-year-old Ramkala BK of Rukum Paschim Sanibheri Rural Municipality-3. Both the injured are being treated at a local hospital.

DSP Sunder Tiwari of Area Police Office, Kohalpur, said that the mini bus (Bhe 1Kha 4033) coming from Nepalgunj towards Kohalpur and the truck (Na 5 Kha 8566), which was crossing the road from east to west, collided with each other.
