One killed, two injured as LP gas tanker overturns after skidding off the road

CHITWAN, April 3: A person was killed when an Indian cargo truck with LP gas abroad (UP 70 DT 6055) skidded off the road and overturned at Lewatar of Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-4 along the Prithivi Highway this morning. The identity of the dead is yet to be ascertained.

Two others were injured in the accident, said the police. One of them has been identified as Ram Batan Tati, an Indian national. He is receiving treatment at local Trauma Centre, Kurintar while another one is undergoing treatment at Old Medical College. 

The unidentified injured person is said to be in serious condition, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijaya Raj Pandit.
