A micro bus (Ba 3 Kha 1032) en-route to Tanahun from Kathmandu hit Rana while he was walking on the road. He succumbed to his fatal injuries during the course of treatment, police said. [break]
Police have impounded the micro bus and detained the driver.
Following the incident, the locals of Mahadevsthan had obstructed the vehicular movements in protest. Police are further investigating the case.
