URLABARI, Sept 27: A 40-year old man died after a pickup van knocked his motorcycle down at Itahara Bardanga road section in Urlabari Municipality in Morang district on Tuesday evening.
Police have identified deceased as Madan Acharya of Rautwamai Municipality-10 in Morang district.
Motorcyclist Acharya was riding in his motorcycle (Me Cha Pa 600) when the van (Me 1 Ja 1915) coming from the opposite area fatally hit im.

The victim suffered grievous injury and was rushed to Arniko Hospital in Urlabari where he breathed his last during the treatment, according to the Area Police Office, Urlabari.
Police have impounded the van and since the driver fled the scene following the incident, the police have started searching for the absconding driver. (RSS)
