One killed, 15 injured in Nawalparasi road accident

NAWALPARASI, March 20: A person died and 15 others were injured in a road mishap in Tilakpur-7 of Nawalparasi district along the East-West Highway on Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Surya Raut of Kumroj-1 in Chitwan district, according to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi.The accident took place when a truck (Na 1 Kha 9136) and a bus (Na 4 Kha 348) collided with each other. Raut died on the spot in the accident.

Police said the injured are undergoing treatment in Butwal. RSS
