BIRGUNJ, May 7: Police arrested Ramesh Mandal who was in possession of 1 kilogram heroin in Jitpur, Bara on Wednesday. Mandal, resident of Buniyad-2, Bara, was traveling in a bus (Ba 2 Kha 2029) from Birgunj to Narayangadh. Security personnel deployed at Jitpur check post arrested him. Mandal said he planned to sell the heroin for Rs 500,000 in Pokhara.
