One dies in motorbike accident

NUWAKOT, July 7: A person died and another sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident at Gangate of Bidur Municipality-5 in Nuwakot on Monday night.

The deceased has been identified as the motorcyclist Thakur Adhikari, 21, of  Bidur Municipality-3. He breathed his last on the way while he was being rushed to a hospital for treatment, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Nuwakot.

Pillion rider Surendra Chitrakar, 27, of  Bidur-5 was injured in the accident. He was discharged after receiving treatment at a local clinic, said Abhi Narayan Kafle, chief at the DPO, Nuwakot.

The accident occurred when the ill-fated two wheeler (Ba 98 Pa 5516) lost control, skidded off and fell 10 meters from the road at 8:30pm.
