One dies as his motorcycle collides with truck

KAILALI, Sept 1: A motorcyclist died when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a parked truck near the Pathak Petroleum, Godawari Municipality-1, Dhangadhi.

The District Police Office, Kailali, said that the deceased has been identified as Kailash Thapa, about 29 years old, a resident of Bhansar Road, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-2.

According to the District Police Office, the accident occurred last night at 1:10 AM, when the motorcycle (Se 5 Pa 7827) heading from the opposite direction collided with the truck (Na 4 Kha 963) en route to Attariya from Dhangadhi. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

Police said that he died during his treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi. Similarly, the pillion rider Bupesh Pal, a resident of Bhansar Road, Dhangadi-2 sustained injuries in his head and leg while his condition is moderate. Police have taken control of the truck driver.
