Janak Pariyar of Tulsipur died when the bus (Na 3 Kha 6217) skidded off the road in the Hapur river, said police.[break]
Three passengers, who were critically injured in the accident, were referred to Nepalgunj for treatment.
Injured other passengers are undergoing treatment in Rapti Sub-regional Hospital, Ghorahi, according to District Police Office, Dang.
The bus driver has been absconding after the road mishap.
