KATHMANDU, Jan 17: One person died and 12 others were injured in a microbus accident in Sindhuli on Thursday evening.
A Hiace microbus (BA 3 Kha 8445), traveling from Kathmandu to Janakpur, met with an accident on Thursday evening at Kandhungre in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-6. As a result, Nirmal Gupta, 50, a resident of Janakpur Metropolitan City-10 in Dhanusha, lost his life.
Two dead in bus accident in Sindhuli
According to police, Gupta died during treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital. On Thursday evening at around 5:30 pm, a microbus crashed into the guardrails on the side of the road after one of its rear tires burst.
According to Sindhuli Police, six injured people are receiving treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital while six other injured have been sent to Kathmandu for treatment.
