37-yr-old held with Rs 2 m Nepali bank notes

KATHMANDU, May 2: Nepal Police has arrested Ramesh Sapkota with Rs two million illegal Nepali bank notes from Soltimode today.

KATHMANDU, May 2: Nepal Police has arrested Ramesh Sapkota with Rs two million illegal Nepali bank notes from Soltimode, Kathmandu today.


The Nepal Police team deployed from Metropolitan police beat, Kalimati has seized Rs two million from a Scorpio (BA 3 CHA 1602).

According to the spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Circe DSP Mohan Kumar Thapa, Sapkota, 37, from Bharatpur-2, Chitwan has been kept in police custody.


He stated that the seized currency has been sent to Department of Money Laundering Investigation for further investigation.
