MORANG, Feb 9: On Wednesday, the police arrested one person from Biratnagar Municipality-10 with Rs 900,000 of undisclosed source.

Police spokesperson of Morang, Tika Bahadur Karki reported that Ranjit Kumar Sah, 42, from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-19, was arrested on Wednesday at 8:30 PM with Rs 920,000 from an undisclosed source. The police stopped a motorcycle with the Indian license plate number BR 38 N 4930 and found the hidden money during their inspection.

Sah could not reveal the source of the money with him and the police speculated that the money may have been from illegal transactions. According to the police, Sah along with the seized money and the motorcycle have been handed over to the Revenue Investigation Office in Itahari for further investigation and action.
