One arrested with Red Panda Hide

NEPALGUNJ, Oct 9: Maniram Sunar, 28, a resident of Jajarkot Bheri Municipality Ward 1 has been arrested from Buddha Mandir in Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City Ward 4 with the skin of a government-protected animal, red panda.

NEPALGUNJ, Oct 9: Maniram Sunar, 28, a resident of Jajarkot Bheri Municipality Ward 1 has been arrested from Buddha Mandir in Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City Ward 4 with the skin of a government-protected animal, red panda.



According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Spokesperson Madhusudan Neupane, a team of District Police Office, Banke arrested the suspect on the basis of information that the skin of a protected wild animal, red panda, was being traded.

DSP Neupane informed Republica that further investigation into the case is underway.
