KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Police have arrested a man from Jhapa on the charge of threatening Nepali entrepreneurs by taking the name of Indian Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi on Thursday.
A team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested one person from Jhapa and brought him to Kathmandu on Friday. According to CIB sources, the arrested person has been identified as Hari Chandra Phuyal of Jhapa.

According to Krishna Kumar Chand, DSP of the District Police Office, Jhapa, Phuyal was arrested from Chiya Bagan in Jhapa on Thursday. DSP Chand told Republica, “We have sent him to Kathmandu for further investigation.”
CIB sources said that an investigation is underway. Earlier, four entrepreneurs had lodged complaints with the CIB stating that they had been threatened by the name of Bishnoi. The entrepreneurs said that they received threatening calls from numbers of India and Dubai. Following the complaints, the CIB initiated the investigation into this matter.
