Talking to reporters at Biratnagar airport on his way to Hile of Dhankuta, where he is scheduled to address a mass meeting, the UML leader said Maoist leadership is one again creating a chance to make money in the name of the combatants.
Though Dahal´s proposal to vacate the cantonments is a positive move, Oli said, there is not much to expect from it as ´nothing of his assurances in the past has ever been fulfilled´.
Maoists neither want to join a government under any other parties nor want to involve other parties in the government led by them, he said and blamed them for toppling the previous governments led by UML´s Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal.
In the context of the Dang incident in which traffic policemen had resigned en masse over a dispute involving a YAN man, Oli said, "It is wrong on the part of the traffic policemen to resign. It is ridiculous that people can´t ride (motorbike) without helmet".
He also alleged the traffic police of, at times, keeping nexus with criminals and said the incident only had a motive to defame YAN, the youth wing of his party.
