Oli claims strong economy in Communist rule

KATHMANDU, Nov 20: CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli has assured of a strong economy once a Communist government was formed. 


Taking part in an interaction organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry ( FNCCI) in the capital on Monday, leader Oli said it was wrong to claim that the nation's economy would get into a mess if the Communists came into power.

There would be no strike and shutdown in the Communists-headed government, he claimed, pledging employment opportunities at home for four million youths who have gone for abroad jobs. 


Also speaking on the occasion, NC leader and former Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat insisted on the need of a clear vision and action plan for the economic development of the country. 


FNCCI president Bhawani Rana hoped for a better economy in the nation after the formation of a stable government. She was of the view that public-private partnership was essential to boost up the nation's economy. RSS
