BUTWAL, May 7: An official logo of State Assembly (SA) members of Province 5 has been unveiled.
State Assembly speaker Purna Bahadur Gharti unveiled the logo amidst a programme here today.
The SA had on March 8 called for a model of the logo from interested people through public media. It had received 12 model logos and among them, the design by Khageshwor Bhandari of Dang was selected.

The logo has the images of the Sisne mountain peak in the Province 5; Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha; rice and barley ears; and the image reflecting gender equality.
In addition to this, the SA Secretariat has unveiled the logo of SA employees, a book compiling the SA rules and details of SA embers and its official website as well.
On the occasion, deputy speaker Krisni Chaudhary honoured the designer of the logo.
Province 5 Internal Affairs and Law Minister, Kul Prasad KC claimed the SA was successful in recording important and historic deeds in a short span of time. The province comprises 12 districts and has its headquarters in Butwal of Rupandehi.RSS
