KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Election for a new leadership of the Nepal Women's Association (NWA) has begun earlier today.
A total of 126 candidates have fielded their candidacy for various 53 posts in the general convention of the NWA currently underway in the Capital from September 14.

Mina Pandey and Uma Regmi are vying to lead the NWA for the next two years while Goma KC and Dhana Khatiwada for general secretary.
Likewise, Kusum Devi Thapa and Janaki Singh are competing for the post of treasurer of Nepali Congress sister organization. A total of 2,114 delegates from across the country are taking part in the convention. RSS
