NT resumes balance transfer service

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Nepal Telecom (NT) has resumed balance transfer facility on prepaid mobile phones from Friday.



The service was halted since July 7 due to technical reason.



According to Surendra Prasad Thike, spokesperson of NT central Office, the service was resumed from this morning after conducting test on Thursday evening.



Similarly, he also promised to take action against its retailers who charged more money from the customers while selling the recharge cards during the period of service halt.



The NT has also decided to give 50 percent discount on SMS service from September 25 to October 24, he informed.
