KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Nepal Telecom (NT) has lowered the minimum monthly rental charge for its GSM postpaid line from Rs 500 to Rs 300 effective from December 16.

Likewise, NT has also introduced Friends and Family Scheme through which postpaid mobile users can make call to any three numbers at just 90 paisa per minute excluding taxes.

Issuing a press statement, NT said GSM postpaid mobile users can choose two GSM numbers and a PSTN number and can make a call at 90 paisa per minute.

Earlier, GSM postpaid users had to pay Rs 500 as minimum monthly charge for Voice, SMS and GPRS service and Rs 400 without GPRS service.

The tariff for making call between 10pm to 6am, however, will remain 75 paisa per minute, according to the statement.
