The Education Department of the KMC has directed community schools not to renew agreements for shutters whose contract periods have expired. However, shutters with remaining time on their contracts can continue operating their businesses until the expiration date.

Several public schools in the metropolis have been renting out their buildings or shutters, with some schools even constructing towers for rental purposes. According to the KMC, the house design maps for some of these shutters built within schools have not been approved.
