KATHMANDU, Jan 12: Nepal Student Union NSU) has organized a stage-in-protest for one hour in front of Kathmandu Metropolitan City office gate on Friday against the air pollution in the city.
Stating that the pollution level of the city is an alarming level, the student union urged KMC and the government to take initiation to control the pollution of the city. During the program, the students handed over dust and masks to Deputy Mayor Hari Prabha Khadgi as a symbol of their protest.

The organizers have informed that this is the first step of the protest and they will continue to protest until their demands are met.
