NRN Women's Forum London donates Rs. 1.87m to orphanage

SARLAHI, Aug 24: NRN Women's Forum, London has donated Rs.1.87 million to conflict victim's orphanage operated by Chetana Sandesh in Hariwan of Sarlahi district.

SARLAHI, Aug 24: NRN Women's Forum, London has donated Rs.1.87 million to an orphanage operated by Chetana Sandesh in Hariwan of Sarlahi district.


In a program organized by the association on Wednesday, the Women's Forum had donated the amount for the construction of a building for conflict-hit children.

Isha Gurung, the coordinator of Women's Forum, London,  handed over the check to Surendra Lama, the operator of the orphanage.


The amount had been collected through a charity show organized by the forum in London on the occasion of International Women's Day.


The forum and the orphanage have also reached an agreement to utilize the amount only for the construction of the orphanage.
