Limbu to lead NRN nat’l coordinator council, Malta

LONDON, Feb 13: : Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRN)’s 80th National Coordinator Council has been formed under the chairmanship of Tej Bahadur Limbu in Malta.

LONDON, Feb 13: : Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRN)’s 80th National Coordinator Council has been formed under the chairmanship of Tej Bahadur Limbu in Malta.


The gathering formed a 25-member ad-hock committee of National Coordination Council, Malta under the chairmanship of Tej Bahadur Limbu.


NRN Vice Chairman Kumar Pant administered oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected office bearers and members of the committee including Limbu on Tuesday.

Speaking at the program, Panta has thanked all the Nepali migrants residing in Malta expressing hope that the formation of the National Coordination Council will help bring all the Nepali migrants under the same roof.


Over 4,000 Nepali migrants have been residing in a small country Malta.  “This newly formed committee is expected to foster mutual brotherhood and cooperation among the Nepali migrants residing in Malta,” said Pant.


  The other office bearers of the ad-hock committee includes Rem Lal Khanal and Krishna Thapa, (Vice President), Sandesh KC (General Secretary), Shankar Pokharel (Secretary), Sadin Pokharel (Treasure), Sarita Rai (Deputy Treasure)


Similarly, Sushma Rai (women coordinator), Roshan Giri (youth coordinator, while the members include Sushil Adhikari, Basudev Adhikari, Rajiv Dahal, Shankar Khatri, Kush Kumari Gurung, Maheshwar Shrestha, Shankar Gurung, Manita Sedhain, Niraj Dhakal, Pradeep Kafle, Shiva Shankar Raya, Arjun Paudel, Dipak Khanal, Birendra Ghimire, Manish Aryal, Arbin Paudel.


Also present in the conclave were NRN Deputy Treasure Som Sapkota, Europe’s Coordinator Shiva Baruwal among others.
