NRB sets exchange rates for foreign currencies, most rates decrease today

The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rates for foreign currencies for Sunday. According to the rates set by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the prices of most foreign currencies have decreased today.

KATHMANDU, Dec 15: The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rates for foreign currencies for Sunday. According to the rates set by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the prices of most foreign currencies have decreased today.


According to the NRB's exchange rates, the purchase rate for one US dollar is Rs 135.37 and the selling rate is Rs 135.97 for Sunday. The purchase rate for one European Euro is Rs 142.02 and the selling rate is Rs 142.65. The purchase rate for one UK Pound Sterling is Rs 171.28 and the selling rate is Rs 172.04. The purchase rate for one Swiss Franc is Rs 151.46 and the selling rate is Rs 152.13.


The central bank set the purchase rate for one Australian Dollar at Rs 86.25 and the selling rate at Rs 86.63, the purchase rate for one Canadian Dollar at Rs 95.21 and the selling rate at Rs 95.63, and the purchase rate for one Singapore Dollar at Rs 100.41 and the selling rate at Rs 100.85.

Similarly, the central bank set the purchase rate for 10 Japanese Yen at Rs 8.82 and the selling rate at Rs 8.85, the purchase rate for one Chinese Yuan at Rs 18.61 and the selling rate at Rs 18.69, the purchase rate for one Saudi Arabian Riyal at Rs 36.02 and the selling rate at Rs 36.18, and the purchase rate for one Qatari Riyal at Rs 37.13 and the selling rate at Rs 37.30.


The central bank set the purchase rate for one Thai Baht at Rs 3.96 and the selling rate at Rs 3.98, the purchase rate for one UAE Dirham at Rs 36.86 and the selling rate at Rs 37.02, the purchase rate for one Malaysian Ringgit at Rs 30.42 and the selling rate at Rs 30.56, the purchase rate for 100 South Korean Won at Rs 9.44 and the selling rate at Rs 9.48, the purchase rate for one Swedish Krona at Rs 12.33 and the selling rate at Rs 12.39, and the purchase rate for one Danish Krona at Rs 19.04 and the selling rate at Rs 19.13.


The central bank set the purchase rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at Rs 17.41 and the selling rate at Rs 17.49, the purchase rate for one Kuwaiti Dinar at Rs 439.71 and the selling rate at Rs 441.65, and the purchase rate for one Bahraini Dinar at Rs 358.88 and the selling rate at Rs 360.47.


Similarly, the NRB set the purchase rate for one Omani Rial at Rs 351.61 and the selling rate at Rs 353.17. Likewise, it set the purchase rate for 100 Indian Rupees at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.


The central bank can modify the exchange rates at any time as needed. Commercial banks may set different exchange rates, and the NRB will make the updated rates available on its website.
