Now it's NC's turn: Sushil Koirala

SIMARA, Jan 30: Chairman of Nepali Congress Sushil Koirala said the new government that will be formed will be lead by NC on Sunday. Since UCPN Maoist and CPN UML had already lead the government, he reasoned that the new government should now be lead by NC.



Speaking at the opening of Simara Gold Cup at Simara, he said it was now NC’s turn to lead with Ram Chandra Paudel as their prime ministerial candidate. He informed that according to party’s statute a parliamentary party leader should be the prime minister and an alternative for Paudel hasn’t been looked into.



Inaugurating the football tournament, he said leaders should also have sportsmanship spirit like players.



Blaming the Maoists for the failure of forming a new government, he said their leadership will not be accepted till the time the peace process is not finalized.
